From time to time, it is worth the effort to wander your own neighbourhood with camera in hand. Yesterday, I saw things I don’t normally see.
A friend and I decided to walk our cameras up to the Canberra Photographic Society’s exhibition at the Watson Pottery. I wouldn’t have bothered if I was by myself. These are the streets where I usually go to think, to breath, to exercise.
After deleting the shots that weren’t much good, I noticed a tendency toward the abstract in the pieces I liked. I suspect the exhibition had some influence on my choices. There it was also the abstract images that attracted my attention.
