Last week, I discovered that WordPress run weekly photo challenges. There is no requirement to take the photo that week; just create a new post about the theme. The aim is to encourage bloggers to blog.
I thought I’d give it a try.
The theme for this week is Beginning. Not bad for the time of year.
I chose this photo from May 2013, when the Skywhale was being launched. It is not only a photo of the early stages of inflating a massive balloon, it was also the first time I headed out camera in hand to photograph a public event from as many angles as practical for the sole purpose of creating a blog entry.
